Checking references

Cosmetic services to our clients are always confidential. It is not easily possible in smaller communities to offer a direct patient list for reference checking. However, it is possible to call the companies from which the doctor buys their supplies, such as Botox, Restylane and Lasers, to find out about how long they truly have been doing certain treatments and if they purchase large volumes of supplies. Do not be shy about wanting to check references with these companies. You can verify the information which you are told. Anyone can make claims of experience, using vague statements – even doctors. Do your homework. If you do not know someone who has had treatments by that specific doctor personally, go ahead and check references.
