There are several ways to address skin laxity issues. When you come to Cosmetic Care, our knowledgeable personal image consultants will review your Skin Laxity issues and help to guide you in your treatment decision path. A healthy balanced approach always works the best.

The first step in the Skin Laxity treatment journey is:

Prevention: Everyone should begin with excellent skin care.  It is important to understand the role of the sun in prematurely damaging our skin and complexion. The personal image consultant will provide each client with education on UV protection, use of topical vitamin C, the use of live stabilized cellular creams, and the use of your DNA analysis for customized anti-aging skin care.

Active treatment: IPL Skin Tightening – this type of Skin Laxity treatment uses broad spectrum pulsed light to cause purposeful heating of the dermis. The gentle heating induces the formation of your own natural collagen. This treatment is done as a series, and requires several months for the collagen to develop. Most individuals experience plumper, firmer skin upon completion. This treatment can be done with regular IPL Photofacials and Accent Radio Frequency tightening. It is compatible with all skin care & complexion treatments.

Accent Radio Frequency tightening: this Skin Laxity treatment uses radiofrequency to create deep therapeutic heat. The heating of deeper tissue causes the existing collagen to contract, and new collagen to be formed. This treatment may be repeated as needed to increase the tightening effects. The results of this treatment build gradually as the bodies on natural processes form new collagen. This treatment works well with all our other skin services, including IPL, Photofacials, Skin Tightening treatments, laser resurfacing, complexion treatments and skin care.
